See what previous awards winners have to say:

The Junior Investigator Award was extremely beneficial for my professional life. In addition to validating my personal sense of value in my research efforts, it has also helped me to gain national prominence as a hospitalist researcher to those that may not otherwise know my work.

Dr. Stephanie Mueller (JIA Winner 2017)

The Junior Investigator Award opened up multiple opportunities for me to work with SHM research leadership which have been meaningful and rewarding. It also helped to highlight that hospital medicine research can reach beyond the hospital to include care delivered in the home after a hospital discharge.

Dr. Christine Jones (JIA Winner 2018)
